Cancellation policy

LAST UPDATED ON JUNE 15TH, 2026, 1:59 PM: Pre-Order Items and Non Pre-Order Item Shipping Changes:

  • Orders with both in-stock and pre-order items will ship together only when the full order is in-stock. There will not be any split-shipping / short shipping / partially sent orders. In the previous update, Orders with both in-stock and pre-order items may ship together or separately at our discretion. Now, it is considered primary and standard procedure for orders to send only when all items in the order are in-stock. We may make exceptions to this on a case by case basis, at our discretion.

At Free the Sheep, we have the right to accept or deny refunds, returns, and exchanges, and store credit. See our policies below regarding returns, exchanges, store credit, refunds, and more.

Returns for Store Credit

  • Customers may request a return within 5 days of receiving their order.
  • Returns are only eligible if they are returned in an acceptable, new condition (see below). If the returned item is in unacceptable condition, you may be denied an exchange/store credit.
  • Items must be in new condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and in original packaging). Items cannot smell, have stains, be damaged, or show signs of wear—otherwise, the return may be denied.
  • Photo proof may be required before approving a return.
  • For returns or exchanges, customers are responsible to cover the return shipping cost. If you need any help along the way, our team is always here to support you.
  • Customers will receive a Return/Exchange Shipping Invoice email that contains the return/exchange shipping price. Once the invoice is paid, they will receive a shipping slip via email to use for the return or exchange. Customers will also have the option to use a self-service return or exchange portal once it is added to the site and available for use.
  • International orders (outside the U.S.) are final sale—no returns, exchanges, or store credit.
  • Special Exceptions: If your situation requires special consideration, please contact us—we’ll do our best to find a solution.

Exchanges

  • Customers may request an exchange within 7 days of receiving their order.
  • Exchanges follow the same guidelines as returns (items must be in new condition).
  • If the requested exchange item is unavailable, store credit can be issued instead.
  • For returns or exchanges, customers are responsible to cover the return shipping cost. If you need any help along the way, our team is always here to support you.
  • Customers will receive a Return/Exchange Shipping Invoice email that contains the exchange shipping price. Once paid, they will receive a shipping slip via email to use for the exchange. Pre-Order Policy

  • Customers have 7 days from purchase to cancel a pre-order for a full refund—after that, pre-orders are final and only eligible for store credit or exchange.
  • Pre-order items will be marked on product pages with an estimated shipping date. This information will be under the Shipping Information tab on the product pages at minimum.
  • Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items may ship together when the pre-order item is available. In some cases, we may ship items separately.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
  • Photo proof may be required before approving a replacement or resolution.
  • To report an issue, email info@freethesheepco.com with your order number and photos of the issue.

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items / Non-Exchangeable

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded, including:

  • Specific Products:
    • M87 Sound Guards
    • Skywalker Socks
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, gummies, edibles, supplements, flowers, plants)
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders, personalized items)
  • Print-on-demand items ("POD" or "on-demand" items)
  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items and gift cards (completely non-returnable and non-refundable)

Refund Processing Time

  • If a refund is approved (such as in a pre-order cancellation within 7 days), it will be issued back to the original payment method.
  • Refunds typically take 3-4 business days to process, though some may be immediate.
  • Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take additional time for the refund to be posted to your account.
